
Stay Well Community Health Initiative Provided Free Health Resources and Vaccinations for HBCU Sports Summit
Baltimore, MD — The Stay Well Community Health Initiative partnered with the HBCU Sports Summit to provide free COVID-19 vaccinations, boosters and other health resources at M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Part of the We Can Do This COVID-19 Education Campaign, Stay Well hoped to increase confidence and access in COVID-19 vaccinations, especially in underserved and unvaccinated communities.
At the summit, junior high and high school athletes experienced what it’s like to train and play on an NFL field while receiving advice from coaches and players on positive values regarding sportsmanship, financial literacy, teamwork and more. In addition to free health resources, there was free food, games, t-shirts, prizes, vendors, panels, recruiters and guest speakers over the course of two days.
The event took place at the M&T Bank Stadium at 1101 Russell St, Baltimore, MD 21230 on Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
